response.log
One of the largest and longest-running pools in the industry, at roughly 16% of network hashrate, and its complaints are correspondingly specific rather than vague.
It publishes fees, rewards, payout schedules and pool hashrate and revenue data, which is better disclosure than most of the field, though fees sit at the higher end — about 2% for PPLNS up to around 4% for FPPS against 1-2% at some competitors, so miners pay for that scale.
Three complaints describe money getting stuck: a manual-withdrawal option removed, leaving a balance stranded below the minimum payout with a suggestion to rent more miners instead; a Dogecoin withdrawal that failed and was converted to Litecoin without consent and locked for thirty days; and payouts reported around fifteen per cent below a competing pool for the same work.
The last of those you can test for yourself; the first two concern control over your own balance, which is much harder to check in advance.
A separate objection to the pool filtering transactions against the US OFAC sanctions list is a policy you may or may not agree with rather than a defect, and F2Pool halted that patch after the community backlash.
Worth knowing that the name gets borrowed by cloud-mining scams offering to let you invest in the pool: you cannot invest in it, only mine to it.
