1This is the most heavily evidenced record in the directory and it is predominantly negative, consistently so from 2021 to the present and corroborated independently across Trustpilot, Google, BBB, complaint boards and forums.
2The pattern does not vary: miners offline for weeks, months, and in several accounts more than a year; units shuffled between facilities in open-ended 'transition'; support tickets unanswered; and billing that continues, or rises, while the hardware sits idle.
3Several customers describe five- and six-figure losses on that basis, and one reports an XP unit sitting 300 days in a repair queue.
4There is substantial federal litigation naming the company, including bankruptcy-trust proceedings, and forum records document the 2022 crisis in which customers were forced into unwanted moves after Compass was tied to a sanctioned hosting partner, with some miners in Russia never recovered.
