2Both can be true, since review platforms collect the aggrieved and an operation this size accumulates them — but the complaints are too specific to wave away, and they cluster on account access and withdrawals rather than on fees or luck.
3One reports several thousand dollars of mining earnings frozen along with the account immediately after a first withdrawal attempt, answered only by autoreplies; another describes being locked out behind an SMS verification step the user says they never set up.
4Whatever the true base rate, that is the failure mode that costs you everything rather than merely annoying you, and it recurs across independent reviewers.
5Note also that the regulator warning circulating against "viabtc.net" attaches to an imitation domain rather than the real company — a reason to check carefully which site you are logging into, not a mark against the operator.
