1A serious and fully documented history: a Chapter 11 filing in December 2022 after the share price fell around ninety-eight per cent, a securities fraud class action, and a motion from Celsius Network alleging violations of bankruptcy-stay provisions and improper surcharges — that last arising directly out of a hosting relationship, which makes it the most relevant item on the record.
2A 2026 contractor lawsuit alleging two and a half million dollars of unpaid work suggests payment difficulties are not purely historical.
3The company has since restructured around AI and HPC hosting and is operating, so this is not a story about a business that vanished.
4But bankruptcy is the most consequential thing that can happen to a company holding your hardware, and it has already happened here once.
5If you are considering them, the questions worth asking are about what protects your equipment in an insolvency — not about uptime.
