HOSTING specifically carries the most serious complaints on file, and prospective hosting customers should read these before committing. BT-Miners ran a New York hosting facility that multiple independent reviewers say shut down around January 2025 ("BT announced shutting down its hosting site in NY due to new laws" — plausible given New York's proof-of-work mining moratorium and later data-centre permit freeze). Customers were affected mid-contract: - One customer paid $25,926 by wire (including $13,176 of hosting prepaid for 12 months) for 5 miners to be hosted in NY. The miners were never deployed — by his account they "did not run for even a single hour" — the facility closed, his sales rep left with no handover, and the machines eventually returned used and scratched, one dead on arrival, all five still carrying another customer's mining-pool addresses. The hosting refund arrived only after he said he would file a fraud complaint. - Another reported over 50% downtime for months on a hosted IceRiver KS5M against a stated 95% uptime agreement, with repeatedly promised hosting-fee reductions never applied; BT acknowledged difficulty managing that model. His hosting deposit was returned in full in Feb 2025. He noted two other Antminers hosted with BT ran properly. - A third described hosting billing disputes and a miner offline for two weeks. Hosting is nonetheless CURRENTLY SOLD, not stale marketing: as of 2026-07-30 the hosting page is live with orderable 12-month products at $0.10/kWh, per-model pricing for 20+ machines, and a hosting page whose assets were refreshed in June 2026 — after the NY closure. The company does NOT publish any facility location; the address is supplied per order ("use the designated BT-Miners office or facility shipping address provided for your order"). Where miners are now racked is therefore unverified from public sources. Other documented issues: several customers received used or damaged machines sold as new (one settled for $750 store credit); one was advised to declare a $2,563 miner to customs as a "data server" worth $250 and was fined EUR456; one reported being emailed a demand to change a negative review, and the company's own public reply to another reviewer asks him to consider revising his review. BT-Miners disputes several negative reviews outright, replying that it has no record of the customer. Company entity is BT ECOMMERCE CO., LIMITED, with a listed US address in Ballston Lake, New York and stated offices in New York and Shenzhen; new miners ship from Shenzhen or Hong Kong.
